So, in 2016, the 27-year-old resident of the Soum has developed a detailed plan to get rich quick based on the use of modern computer technology. He drew in the case of two friends who had skills to work in the Internet and telephony in the engineering field.
With some equipment, they made a clandestine computer center, which was forwarded international calls that bypass the international switching centers. Such interference in the operation of telecommunication networks has enabled cyber criminals to cash out the electronic money received as payment for a call.
During the authorized search militiamen withdrew the computer equipment, including routers and GSM gateways, and 220 of the SIM card of the domestic mobile operators, which were used in the process of changing the order of routing incoming international traffic for voice telephony.
Open criminal proceedings under part 3 of article 28, part 2 of article 361 of the criminal code of Ukraine (unauthorized interference with the work of electronic computing machines). The three suspects declared the message on suspicion in Commission of this crime.
Malefactors are threatened by imprisonment for a term of three to six years.
