The deep burial site was discovered of a typical Ancient Egyptian artefacts: amulets in the form of scarabs, pottery, fragments of gold funerary masks and statuettes, as reported by the tabloid the Sun.
The tomb has a very respectable age to 3.4 thousand years. She was discovered two years ago, but a detailed examination of its contents, the scientists were able to start only recently.
According to preliminary data, last rest in the grave found the head of operations in gold mining in a nearby mine named Nommos. Along with the man buried were members of his family, and probably servants.
Scientists recalled that in the period in question, the island of SAI, which is now part of the Sudan, was part of Nubia-controlled Egyptian pharaohs.
