A mysterious incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, August 20, in St. Petersburg. Three young men in the eyes of passers-by at the same time fell unconscious. One died later.
Around victims soon gathered a crowd of onlookers. The ambulance arrived in ten minutes. But one of the victims could not be saved: he died before arrival of doctors. The body of one of the young men lay covered by a sheet.
Witnesses describing victims say they were “blue”. Presumably, they may have ingested something toxic. Two survivors were taken to the hospital.
