A man was driving down the road from Arugam Bay to Yala national Park in Sri Lanka.
In Sri Lanka wild elephant flipped a tuk-tuk (automated rickshaw) tourist from Ireland. Vehicle was traveling on the road from Arugam Bay to Yala national Park 270 km from Colombo, when the wild elephant stood in his way. The driver advised the tourist to get out of the car and distract the animal with food.
The Irishman had been misunderstood, that needs to be done. Instead of having to throw a treat to the side, he approached the elephant and began to feed him with his hands. When the elephant ate everything, he drove the tourist with its trunk and climbed into the tuk tuk for more.
In Sri Lanka, the tuk-tuks call covered three-wheeled scooters and motorcycles for transporting passengers or cargo. They are widely distributed in South and South-East Asia.
“An elephant turned the tuk-tuk and pulled up all the bags in search of food. The Irishman must be lucky, if left intact,” commented the author of the video posted on YouTube.
