The crossover will be available with a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine.
Hyundai has revealed at the Shanghai motor show a compact crossover ix35 new generation. The all terrain model will join the lineup of the South Korean brand, which includes models ix25 (in Russia, sold under the name of Creta), Tucson, Santa Fe and Grand Santa Fe.
Overall length of new items amounted to 4435 mm, width – 1850 mm. Is 25 mm and 30 mm larger than the previous generation model, respectively. The crossover has received completely modified front optics and fog lights and an upgraded grille.
Technical information about the crossover yet. According to unofficial data, the new ix35 will keep the old two-liter 160-horsepower aspirated. In addition, the SUV will be offered with a new 1.4-liter turbo engine, developing 130 forces. Both engines will be combined with seven-step “robot” with two clutches.
It is expected that the Hyundai ix35 new generation will be sold exclusively in the Chinese automotive market.
