Archaeologists found under the ground settlements of the bronze age.
In Scotland, archaeologists found a bronze age city.
Archaeologists explored the city Carnot the terrain on which it was planned to build a soccer field. In the course of the research, the scientists found a settlement of 12 houses and home utensils. Now it is the largest Neolithic site of Scotland. Was also found strong ancient weapons, in particular 3000 year old bronze sword and a gold-plated spear.
“It’s very unusual to recover such artifacts by using modern methods of archaeological excavations, which provide a huge amount of information on the specifics of burial. To keep things intact, we did large-scale tunnel and pulled out of the ground a single layer of soil weighing up to 80 kilograms,” said archaeologist Alan hunter Blair.
