Hundreds of women had the opportunity to escort their families to go to the Royal stadium in the capital, Riyadh, during the celebration of the national holiday – day of unity of the Kingdom. On the stadium, which holds about 40 thousand spectators, equipped with a separate area for families.

Saudi Arabia is a strict policy of separating people by gender. It is the only country where women are forbidden to drive cars. There are many other restrictions. For example, without the permission of father, husband or brother Saudi women are not allowed to start training and travel.
Recently the government of the Kingdom go to some cautious concessions. In July, the Saudi Ministry of education has allowed pupils of the public schools to play sports.
