Ryanair forecasts lower prices MAU after the start of the low-cost airline on the Ukrainian market.
The largest European low-cost airline Ryanair predicts that the airline Ukraine International airlines will cut prices after the start of Ryanair on the market of Ukraine.
In an interview with the business portal M!nd Vice-President of Ryanair, David O’brien.
“International airlines of Ukraine, as far as I know, is a private, not public company, bearing the flag of the country, so I would not call them a national carrier. And I think it’s normal that they won’t get any preferential treatment or assistance from the state in fair and open competition with us. From my point of view of an external observer, Ukraine International airlines is a well run business, but they will have to reduce prices”, – he stressed.
At the same time, O’brian said that Ryanair is considering the possibility of cooperation with UIA, seeing the potential of development of air links between West and East.
He stated that he had proposed to the Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan start to sell tickets of MAU on your website and thus help with their development.
