In our country it is planned to introduce a new system of authentication for public wireless networks, Wi-Fi, and single. This plan is included in the project called Digital economy, in which most of these plans are so many that half of them will not be realized.
However, to create a unified system of authorization in Wi-Fi is planned for 2020, and its design starts ostensibly in 2018 under the leadership of the Ministry of communications. This is all done in the first place to spy on the Russians, because to connect to Wi-Fi somewhere in the toilet of some dive of a provincial Russian town will need to first log in and provide personal information.
According to preliminary data, to facilitate the work on creation of such system of the Ministry of communications will combine its existing authorization system ESIA, which is used on the portal. The government sees such a system, the potential and going in the near future to begin considering and adopting appropriate amendments to laws to provide regulation of all related system issues. If the project really will be given the course to complete work on the establishment of authorization system in a public Wi-Fi networks is planned for the summer of 2019. We will add that a couple of days ago, the government was reluctant to build in Russia the cellular network 5G.
