Trading-industrial chamber of Russia (TPP) sent a letter to the government to achieve favorable lease rates and reduced tariffs for insurance premiums for fitness clubs. About TASS said the President TPP Sergey Katyrin.
“The CCI believes that it is necessary to introduce subsidies for landlords to businesses that provide sports services to population, paid at preferential rates. We also believe it appropriate and justified to restore the lowered tariffs of insurance fees for fitness clubs to USN [simplified tax system] at the rate of 20% for mandatory pension insurance”, — said Katyrin.
According to him, the high cost of payroll and raised rates on the leased area are holding back the development of the industry and, in addition, “increasingly unaffordable and sports services for the majority of people of our country”.
“Till 2019 fitness clubs operating under the simplified system of the taxation, apply reduced rates of insurance contributions, from 1 January prices rose by 10%,” — said Katyrin. He added that the commercial rental rates for this business are high and are close to retail rates, which together with the reduced purchasing power of the population severely reduces the profitability of the business.
