Kamchatka volcano threw a column of ash height of more than five kilometers.
The volcano Shiveluch, which is located on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Federation, threw ash column height of which reached 5.5 thousand meters above sea level.
Representatives of local offices of the Ministry of emergency situations reported that Shiveluch volcano recorded a plume of ash, the plume of which is due to the wind direction went in a North – easterly direction from the volcano.
Currently, the MOE has assigned to the volcano to “orange” aviation code of the danger, stressing that settlements near the Shiveluch nothing to fear.
It should be noted that this volcano is one of the Northern volcanoes, which continue to operate on the territory of Kamchatka. 45 kilometers from Shiveluch is the nearest village called Keys.
As previously reported, on July 24, Kamchatka volcano Shiveluch threw a column of ash, the height of which was about 12 kilometers above sea level. This volcano has set the highest red color code of danger to aircraft.
Apart from Shiveluch volcano column of ash rose over the Klyuchevsky volcano, also located in Kamchatka.
