The total area of fire amounted to more than seven thousand hectares
More than 40 fires registered on the territory of Irkutsk region of Russia, their area is over 7 thousand hectares, reported Saturday the website of the official portal of the region.
“Only together with the localized, urban, and fires in nazargah there are 43… the Total area of fires is 7261 ha. Area with the beginning of fire season — 12880 hectares”, — is spoken in the message.
In extinguishing involved 899 people and 291 pieces of equipment.
A particularly acute situation with wildfires emerging in Irkutsk region and Buryatia, where burned down about 100 houses. Currently, all Siberian Federal district introduced a state of emergency, increasing the group to extinguish fires.
