In Russia, prisoners attacked the prison staff

Two employees of the colony required medical attention.

The Prosecutor’s office checks on the fact of attack sentenced to prison in Ulyanovsk, the press service of the Supervisory authority in the region.

According to prosecutors, the incident occurred on Tuesday. In an attack by inmates for medical assistance, two staff members of the colony.

“The Ulyanovsk Prosecutor’s office on supervision of observance of laws in correctional facilities of the region checks on the fact of attack on a group of convicts two officers colony No. 9”, — stated in the message.

As noted in Prosecutor’s office, the attack occurred at the moment when the head of Department of security of the correctional institution and its subordinate conduct a technical inspection of the “premises of chamber type, which are violators of the requirements of the regime”.

Attackers convicted, according to the Ministry, serving sentences for theft, burglary and robbery.
