The deadly incident occurred in Ulyanovsk.
The Ulyanovsk investigators are checking into the death of a child due to the vanishing of the ground on the beach on the Volga river, reports SUCK in the region.
“The investigating authorities conducted an inspection into the death of a minor child… the results of the audit will be a procedural decision”, — stated in the message.
According to investigators, the incident occurred on 12 July on the banks of the Volga river near the village of Arkhangelsk in Cherdaklinsky area of the Ulyanovsk region. On the beach, rested a woman with two children and her mother. As reported in Prosecutor’s office of the region, owing to the sudden descent of soil, the children were covered with sand and clay.
With the collapse of the banks killed 5-year-old boy who appeared covered with sand, reported in the UK. The girl was able to save other travelers.
