The Chairman of the “National Council for homeopathy” Alexey Karpeev has accused pharmaceutical companies that they lobbied the Memorandum of the Commission of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), who recognized homeopathy pseudoscience.
“Homeopathy as there are so many is after her. Homeopathic medicines take in the total number of medications two to three percent. But the pharmaceutical companies even these percentages do not want to give. It lobbied, because in all other areas homeopathy is growing every year,” said Karpeev.
He compared homeopathy with genetics that in the first half of the twentieth century also recognized pseudoscience.
On 6 February it became known that the Commission on pseudoscience when the RAS Presidium prepared a Memorandum “On the false scientific character of homeopathy”.
