In Sortavalsky area of Kareliya on Monday night the boat capsized with five teenagers, according to preliminary data, three of them were killed, have informed “Interfax” in office of public Prosecutor of the Republic.
“The message on incident arrived at 21:35. On lake Ladoga near the village Impilahti capsized boat with five teenagers aged 16 to 18 years. According to preliminary data, three teenagers drowned,” – said the Agency interlocutor.
In the Main Department of EMERCOM in Karelia confirmed this information and reported that at the emergency arrived inspectors of the State inspection on small size vessels (GIMS), the staff of the Karelian search services, as well as volunteers.
