Tomorrow in Crimea held an illegal election of the President of the Russian Federation.
Bucharest declares that strongly condemns Russia’s annexation of Crimea and the consequent ongoing violation of the basic principles and norms of international law.
“Romania strongly condemns the illegal annexation of the Crimean Peninsula by Russia and its continued violation of basic principles and norms of international law. Romania strongly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and firmly involved in the policy of non-recognition (of Russian elections – CU) of the European Union”, – stated in the message.
Russian authorities on March 18, intend to hold elections of the Russian President to annexed Crimea. They will be attended by eight candidates – Sergey Baburin, Pavel Grudinin, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Vladimir Putin, Ksenia Sobchak, Maxim suraykin, Boris Titov and Grigory Yavlinsky.
16 February the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged the international community not to recognize results of future elections of the Russian President to annexed Crimea.
