In pursuit of the elements: a unique project by the American photographer. Photo

Photographer 10 years hunted for thunderstorms to clear it.

This is a gorgeous 3-minute time lapse photographer from Kansas, who for 10 years has covered more than 160,000 km and has done tens of thousands of shots, chasing thunderstorms in the Midwest. In the “Fractal” he showed all the fury, the beauty and splendor superheavy thunderstorms.

Chad Cowan (Chad Cowan) showed the photographs, which were made in the last six years from Texas to North Dakota. At first he just wanted to enjoy the thunderstorms and study them. But over time he developed an obsession to capture them on camera in high resolution and share the spectacle with others.
