In Poltava region a year-old child drowned in a concrete birdbath

A terrible accident occurred in the yard of a private house in Poltava region.

Yesterday, September 20, at about 18:00 in Piryatinski police Department received information from the admissions office. Reported that 37-year-old local resident brought to the hospital the body of one-year-old child. This was told in the press service of the National police in the area.

When leaving for the scene the police found that one-year-old child was walking in the yard. According to the parent, the child fell into a container of water for poultry and drowned.

The baby’s body has already been sent for forensic examination to establish the final cause of death. On this fact the investigative information has been entered in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations according to p. 2 of part 2 of part 1 of article 115 UK of Ukraine (premeditated murder).
