The Minister said that the Ukrainians improve the situation on the labor market in Poland.
The Polish government stressed that the two countries had no problem with the illegal influx of Ukrainian immigrants, and the Ukrainians had a positive impact on the labour market.
In Poland there are already more than two million of Ukrainian immigrants. This was announced by the Minister for humanitarian assistance and refugees in Poland Beata Kempa.
“According to our estimates, Ukrainians in Poland could be more than two million. Of course, many of them here in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. This is also the argument that we will present to the European Commission in this battle in which we answer why we did not accept refugees during the pre-distribution (of the EU programme for the resettlement of immigrants),” said Kemp.
The Minister stressed that Poland has no problems with illegal influx of Ukrainian immigrants, and added that the Ukrainians had a positive impact on the labour market. “They work responsibly. The unemployment rate declined to a record level,” she explained.
However Ukrainians should take into account that Poland will not agree to “wrong codes memory”. “Take the cases in the five Eastern provinces of the Second Polish Republic and the massacre that happened there. I can’t imagine that the Polish government will take the glory of these criminals! It was a genocide”, – said the Minister.
We will remind, the Polish border guards have started a mass screening of firms engaged in the employment of foreigners. During one of the checks was found 126 citizens of Ukraine who worked in Gdansk without documents. All of them are being deported.
