In Poland, attacked students from Ukraine

In the Polish city of Rzeszow (Rzeszów) was beaten by a group of students from Ukraine, their life and health threatens nothing, the attackers have been detained, according to local police.

According to information on the website of the Polish police, the incident occurred on 21 January, a day when Ukrainian students were returning after classes in the dormitory. On the road they were stopped by five young men and asked the students where they are. Hearing the answer, the men asked who owns Lviv – Ukraine or Poland. The attackers then called the students “Bandera” and beat them.
As a result of collision, the students received a beating that do not threaten their life and health.

According to the report, the police after a few hours detained five suspects thanks to surveillance cameras which recorded the attack on students. The attackers were five residents of Rzeszow in age from 18 to 20 years. All five were arrested, they pleaded guilty. Ukrainian students also identified the attackers.

The police transferred the case to the district attorney’s office, Rzeszow, where the attacker declared suspected of beating on a national basis. To them threatens till 5 years of imprisonment.

In turn, the head of the consular service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Kirilich said that the issue was being considered by the Ukrainian Consul.

“Our Consul studied this question. Now this issue is verified and upon receipt of the first information about the incident, I will inform you”, he said.
