Transport police launched an investigation after 13-year-old girl, walking with a friend, fell on the way from the railway bridge and was hospitalized in serious condition, according to the Department of transport Ministry of the Russian Federation in the Northwest Federal district.
“Employees of linear Department of police at the station Saint-Petersburg-Ladozhsky is checked on the fact of injury to a minor… In the evening time, teenage girls were walking along the railway tracks. One of them climbed onto a railway bridge and, when he began to move in the opposite direction, stumbled, lost his balance and fell on the railway”, — stated in the message.
According to traffic police at the scene were immediately summoned an ambulance, the injured taken to a hospital in the city in serious condition.
The girl studies in a school in Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg. Information about the incident has already told her parents.
