Part of the outfits of the French actress Catherine Deneuve by Yves Saint Laurent sold out 24 January at Christie’s auction in Paris for almost a million euros. This was reported on the website of the auction house.
It is noted that the collection put up for auction showcased more than 300 lots, of which went under the hammer for almost 130 ensembles.
The most expensive lot was a pale pink dress embroidered with beads and beads, in which Deneuve met with the Director and screenwriter of Alfred Hitchcock in 1969. Dress sold for 42,5 thousand euros, ten times higher than the starting price.
