According to the International organization for the disabled, prostheses need about 100 million people worldwide
Disabled peoples ‘ international (DPI), staged a protest in #BodyCantWait in which wearing dentures for several replicas of famous sculptures with broken limbs.
Among them is the statue of Venus de Milo, mounted at the metro station “Louvre — Rivoli” in Paris (the original statue is in the Louvre).
The aim of the project is the spread of modern prostheses made with 3D printing: they need about 100 million people worldwide. Previously MY for free has already passed two dozen prosthetic people, Syria and Madagascar, and soon another 100 will be sent to India.
“We would like to bring this initiative to a new level and provide prostheses to as many people as possible number of countries,” — reads the statement of the head of the International organizations of disabled people Xavier de cross.
