In the shooting on the territory of Virginia state University in the us city of Petersburg, at least one person is seriously injured, the TV station WTVR reported, citing police sources.
According to TV channel, the shooting was preceded by several scuffles.
The alleged instigator of the shooting is 23-year-old young man. The victim with life-threatening wounds and taken to the local hospital.
Currently, the campus is closed. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
