In Odessa, near one of the pharmacies in the district Tairovo, a monument to a fabulous character – the good Doctor
It is worth noting that this is the country’s only such sculpture.
Behind the fairy-tale character is a tree, where sits the owl. And the hands of a fairy doctor holding a spoon and bottle of medicine.
We will remind, doctor Aybolit is a fictional veterinarian, the character of several works of Korney Chukovsky: poetic tales “Barmalei” (1925), “Aybolit” (1929) and “Defeat an Ogre” (1942), as well as prose novels “Doctor Aibolit (1936).
