In Odessa eliminated the fire in the landfill near the refinery today, June 26, 2017. This was reported in the press service of the State service for emergency situations (SSES).
“The joint efforts of the firefighters at 14:44 the fire managed to be localized to within 0.5 ha, and 19:53 – to eliminate. The ignition reason now is established by experts” – said in the message.
According to information a press-services, to prevent re-ignition of personnel of gschs were carried out the duty to identify possible sources of decay.
So, the message that in the territory of the inactive solid waste landfill on Shkodova mountain in the Odessa burning garbage and dry grass, came to Service of rescue “101” at 10:20 on 26 June 2017.
At 10:41 am to the scene firefighters arrived and found that the fire covered several separate foci on a total area of 0.15 hectares. Travel on the side of the machinery was impossible, so the rescuers have laid a hose line.
