In Odessa on 9 may, soldiers of the Navy of Ukraine celebrates Day of the victory of retired Colonel Ivan Kulibaba, which met the war on 22 June while serving in the Navy in Kerch.

As for health Ivan Trofimovich, who is now 96 years old, couldn’t take part in the citywide celebrations, the sailors decided to congratulate him at home.

“We had long been familiar with Ivan Trofimovich. We expected that the veteran, who is now not feeling well, you will hear a military band will appear on the balcony. He heard us, came out, and later allowed to come into the apartment and say Hello” – said the activist of public organization “veterans of the Naval forces of Ukraine” Colonel Oleg Nayda.

Sailors visiting the veteran congratulated him on his Victory, thanked him for the peace in our land and wished good health and long life.

When a retired Colonel Ivan Kulibaba went to the balcony to see off the guests, then bottom him together with the military was applauded by the whole court.
