Russian blogger and traveler Sergey Anashkevich released photos of the two-meter monument to the pasties, which was erected in the annexed Crimea.
According to him, the locals call pasties “breadwinners”, and “the bridge, the new fed, the airport — it’s the little things”, without which “Crimea once lived and would have lived on.”
“But without their true survivor – no way! Deciding to pay tribute to and perpetuate it in Belogorsk even erected a monument to the survivors — now every tourist can see a huge six-foot burrito,” wrote the blogger, and noted that he looks “like a real, not smell.”
He believes that “Crimea without pasties, and samosas — as America without fast food and fries”.
