In Norway, the thieves managed to steal rare artifacts from the Viking age

The attackers used the scaffolding.

From the historical Museum in the Norwegian city of Bergen is stolen more than 400 exhibits of the Viking age. This is the website of the institution.

The theft occurred on 12 August, said the Director of the Museum.

He called the consequences of what happened a “catastrophe” for the reputation of museums in Norway and expressed the hope that the kidnappers will not be able to sell the stolen at auction.

According to the Director, he takes full responsibility for the incident, though no one could assume that the thieves will climb into the room on the seventh floor of one of the buildings of the University of Bergen.

It is established that malefactors have used scaffolding in the walls of the housing in connection with the repair, then cracked the window.
