In Norway are working to create unusual containers for seafood

Local scientists want to simplify the lives of their fishermen.

Norwegian students develop “intelligent robots-containers” with a cooling system that can autonomously, without human control, to arrive at the port, SeaNews reports with reference to classification society DNV GL.

Project Manager OLE Johan Lennon with a group of students from the Norwegian University of science and technology has developed a supply chain of seafood.

Through consumer application sends a request to the digital platform. The seafood is transported to Autonomous “intelligent robot-container”, which makes use of sophisticated cooling technologies.

It will be self-managed container, which transports seafood production vessel to a nearby port or waiting at sea a container ship for further transportation, and digital platform gathers information from the unmanned vessels to determine the optimal route.
