New Zealand inventor Nick Gerritsen has launched the world’s first virtual politician named Sam, which can communicate with people in the chat Messenger.

With the bot-a politician can communicate in English in Facebook. If you ask Sam to tell something about themselves, she presents her main idea and aspirations.

“With your help I can become a politician who can represent New Zealand,” she says.

The activities of Sam are intended to “close the gap between the real promises of politicians and the execution of them”.

Now she can communicate with users on a limited number of topics. A list of optional conversations published on its website. In particular, Sam can talk to people about education, election, global warming, immigration processes, laws, etc.

It is not excluded that Sam will be able to take part in the parliamentary elections in the country in 2020, the newspaper notes.
