In Lower Manhattan in new York city, an unusual art exhibition for dogs.
Ten exhibits were United under the name dOGUMENTA located at the dog’s eyes. According to the source, the paintings and sculptures used mainly blue and yellow hues, which are easier to recognize four-legged. Some of the exhibits smell, while others contain useful animal components.
The idea of the exhibition belongs to the art criticism Jessica Dawson, whose life changed puppy named rocky. “We talked with the artists and chose those who first and foremost can think and see from the point of view of dogs,” she says.
Rocky, which Jessica Dawson took in 2013 was to accompany her in visits to galleries. Then she noticed the enthusiasm, which is her pet.
“I felt that my head is overloaded with press releases and other voices in the art world, and frankly, I’ve seen too many pieces, — says the critic. Rocky went right to work and seemed absorbed by it. He didn’t think about the barrier between life and art, for him it was one and the same.”
