In Moscow the private carrier abused a passenger

One of the victims of the rapist managed to escape.

The investigation intends to ask the court about the arrest of a private carrier in Moscow, who is accused of raping a passenger and the attempted rape in which the victim was able to escape, told RIA Novosti on Monday, senior assistant to the head of the Main investigative Department of the investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow Julia Ivanova.

According to investigators, in November, 35–year-old man, providing services to private taxis and parked the car near the Paveletsky station in Moscow, was raped by a 28-year-old passenger, threatening her with murder. Thereafter, the defendant, according to the UK, stole the victim property belonging to it for the sum more than 40 thousand rubles.

“In the framework of a criminal investigation, there is one more episode of criminal activity. So, in December 2017 in the car near the passage Zhukov accused committed the attempted rape of a 28-year-old girl. The victim had actively resisted and was able to leave the car, in connection with the illegal actions against her were not brought to an end”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

She added that in the near future the consequence will petition for election concerning the accused of the measure of restraint in form of detention.
