Moscow authorities have banned an anti-corruption rally planned by opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
The official representative of the city stated that the planned March and rally in Central Moscow will disrupt traffic and violate the rights of residents.
Lavadamaldanado of regional security and combating corruption Moscow Vladimir Chernikov said that the city authorities do not intend to revise its refusal to endorse the March.
Chernikov said that the organizers were unable to provide timely and safe conduct of their events.
The city authorities have not offered another place, that, according to Navalny, is illegal.
We will remind, on Tuesday, March 14, Navalny filed an application to hold a March through the main street of Moscow, the culmination of which would rally near the Kremlin. The March was supposed to take up to 15,000 people.
Navalny, anti-corruption activist and opponent of President Vladimir Putin, announced in December that he will run for President in elections in March 2018, when Putin is expected to go on for a fourth term.
The court in Kirov sentenced Navalny to five years probation for embezzlement in the company Kirovles.
According to the Bulk, the reasoning part of the verdict is virtually indistinguishable from a court decision, announced by the first process on the case of Kirovles.
At the meeting on 8 February the court found the oppositionist guilty of theft.
The previous verdict was announced, Navalny 16 Nov 2016.
The conviction on charges of embezzlement, according to the Russian legislation, will not allow the opposition to participate in presidential elections in March 2018.
