A subversive group wanted to disrupt the festival, informs the police.
In Mariupol thwarted infiltration attempts of several subversive groups of the music festival “MRPL City 2017”. About it I wrote in Facebook the head of the regional police Vyacheslav Abroskin.
“From 7 to 9 July 2017, twenty kilometers from the line the real nacionalnoj war, there was the festival of festivals and music in Mariupol for our residents of the Donetsk region, for all citizens of Ukraine. From eight to ten thousand guests of the festival daily and the police of the Donetsk region with the protection of public order managed to “excellent”, – Abroskin writes.
According to him, law enforcement officers have proved that they are able to maintain order during such events in close proximity to the militants.
“At first glance, ordinary citizens feel that the security of such a large mass and attending people of the event was limited to only those visible presence of forces and means, who were involved in ensuring the protection of public order in Mariupol. This is a misconception. This result we have achieved thanks to the joint work that was carried throughout the field by the police of the Donetsk region, the SBU, the National guard and military service of law and order. It was a preparatory work aimed at preventing the subversive groups in the territory under the control of the region from the occupied cities, and, believe me, they were not alone, the time will come and we will talk about it. This holding sweeps in the settlements close to the boundary line. It is active at all roadblocks and checkpoints located on the territory of the region”, – Abroskin added.
