The city held a parade to mark the third anniversary of the release of militants “DNR”.
The city of Mariupol in Donetsk region on Saturday, June 17, marks the third anniversary of its liberation from the terrorists concerts, contests, parade of military equipment, ceremonial rally.
The event began with a performance of the national anthem of Ukraine, and then a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
Participation in solemn ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Troyan, Deputy head of the National police of Ukraine — the chief of police of the Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin, the commander of the tactical group “Mariupol” Eugene Popovich, people’s deputies of Ukraine, representatives of city authorities and residents of Mariupol.
He addressed the gathering, Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Trojan.
“I’m in the city that freed and protected, and that we protect so far. Mariupol knows, the 13th of June, there was still a fight, but when we went back, saw that the streets were already decorated with the flags of Ukraine. Remember Mariupol, September 5, when we returned from Shirokino — it was the defense of Mariupol from Russian tanks. Mariupol remembers “the shirokinsky operation”, when fired at the Eastern district, then we went on the offensive. I promise you from all of us that we’ll never leave this town even if I have to die for it. There will be Ukraine”, — he said.
Trojan thanked for service of volunteers who, with the advent of terrorist aggression, could not stay aside and began to defend the borders of their state.
State and departmental awards, it was noted more than 30 employees of the national guard and the national police. Vadim Troyan presented awards of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine “For valour in service” and “excellence in service” of 20 soldiers of the interior Ministry units, as well as honorary certificates from the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov the two police forces of Donbass.
In addition, valuable gifts and gratitude from the Deputy head of national police of Ukraine Vyacheslav Abroskin received members of the national guard of Ukraine, border guards and soldiers of the interior Ministry units. Representatives of these departments were encouraged with letters of gratitude and on behalf of the mayor Vadim Boychenko, who presented his Secretary, Stepan Mahsma.
