The participants of the protests For a United Macedonia broke on April 27 in the building of the Parliament of the Republic after the election of the speaker of ethnic Albanian Talat Xhaferi and beat opposition leader Zoran zaeva and several deputies of his party.

Later that evening, a special unit of the interior Ministry of Macedonia carried out the operation to free the deputies, who blocked the Parliament of the Republic.
It is reported that the fighters of the police special forces took the MPs of SDSM and the new Chairman of the Assembly of Talat Dzaferi that were locked in the building since then, as the demonstrators entered the Parliament. Law enforcement officers used smoke bombs.
