Ruined statues of the stations of the Path in the Park High castle.
Unknown destroyed several statues of the stations of the Path in the Park High castle in Lviv. This was reported in the Charity “Business Skarbek”.
So, the vandals broke the cross, the other broke two figures of praying women, bent and stole the prayer table and fixtures.
The author of sculptures, Bogdan, Gretchen reported that one of the figures already recovered, the other requires a global restoration that will last at least a month. According to him, the restoration work in its complexity is similar to the production of new, respectively, and are significantly costly.
Every year on the way of the Cross pray the parishioners in Lviv and guests of the city, walking the path of Jesus from condemnation to death.
The way of the cross was consecrated in the year 2015, the construction of each station lasted since 2010, the cost of each of them 3-5 thousand dollars. Fifteen plots in the figures were created by sculptor Bogdan Gretchka and through donations from residents of the city.
