Come into force new rules.
All parent committees and teachers of Lviv forbade to collect cash from parents of pupils and preschoolers to solve “financial issues” related to the improvement of logistics, repairs and the like.
The corresponding order was signed by the head of Department of education of the Lviv city Council Zoryana Dovganik.
Personal responsibility for committing illegal acts to raise funds for the Department of education has placed on school leaders.
Chairman of the Parent Council of Lviv Elena Ponomareva believes that it does not prohibit parents to help schools.
“On the contrary, help is possible and necessary, but voluntarily, lawfully and transparently. Every institution has a special account into which you can transfer a donation. Money in the account is money intended use and strict accountability and sufficient in the purpose of payment to specify what, what class or what you need to send money to and they clearly get on purpose”, – said Ponomarev.
She also noted that this order will allow a charity in the legal channel, would free teachers from the burden, and parents from the pressure and humiliation on the part of the parent committees.
