In Lviv, law enforcement officers detained a group of people with brass knuckles, knives and chains around 18:00 near the centre of the city. About it reports a press-service of regional national police.
It is noted that militiamen turned about 17:30 with a message about suspicious people who may be carrying weapons. Arrived at the scene by patrol, investigative team and employees of other services.
“Law enforcement authorities had located the suspicious citizens and confiscated gas cans, brass knuckles, knives and other items that can be used to cause bodily harm. Now the police establish the identity of citizens and carry out priority actions”, – stated in the message of national police.
Meanwhile, the “Radio Liberty” reports that about 50 people with guns were near the store building of public organization “Autonomous resistance” and that Agency law enforcement officers blocked in the yard.
“Among the detainees there is not a single activist of “Autonomous resistance”, but 17:30 is locked in the yard, where there is our shop. Police spent checking and found some gun that does not belong to us. It’s some kind of converted weapons. I have the impression that now me and other our activists will carry on the interrogation,” – said the representative of the “Autonomous resistance” Yarinu Voloshin.
