In the temporarily occupied the regional center there are opponents of the ideas of “Russian world” among students at several universities.
In the former East Ukrainian University named after Volodymyr Dahl captured by the invaders in Lugansk, some students protested at the round table on forced Russification of training.
According to sources LIGA.net one of the students expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that instead of getting the necessary knowledge in the field of training, many teachers organize lessons of propaganda in the spirit of Soviet times, thus promoting the idea of “Russian world”.
“This has nothing to do with the quality of training, brainwashing ideas of the Russian world,” said today LIGA.net student Alex, whose name was changed for security reasons.
He added that some of those present (about seven people – ed.) supported him, but the teachers were unhappy with this turn of events.
Another source LIGA.net said that the student said “the right things, just a like a flock of sheep, generally afraid to say something out loud.”
“We have a group of a spoke Ukrainian, participated in the Olympic games, traveled to Kiev to the Maidan before the war, but was unable to go and now completely “gone out”, and moved on to Russian language,” said student Svetlana.
