A curious incident occurred in London, UK, where local police have fined five-year-old girl for selling lemonade to the guests of the music festival Lovebox.
As told the girl’s father, Andre Spicer, his daughter was so pleased with a school Bazaar that she wanted to do something similar yourself. Together with his father they made the lemonade and put the table together with a drink on the courtyard of his house, past which was just coming guests to the festival.
Guests of the music event drink much, but after half an hour the girl was approached by four police officers and started to explain to her that she cannot trade without a license, for which he write her up.
“It didn’t look like she is trying to earn a lot of money. It’s only a five year old child who sold lemonade,” complained her father.
Subsequently, in the local district Council apologized to the girl and her parents and promised to cancel the fines. Local officials were assured that the police will continue to “exercise common sense”.
