In Libya, fired on the building of the Ukrainian Embassy

Ambassador Nikolai Nagorny said that there have been no casualties and the explosion was accidental.

In the Libyan capital shelled the building of the Ukrainian Embassy, said the Ambassador of Ukraine in this country Nikolai Nagorny in Facebook.

“Here in our Embassy in Tripoli, a “gift” knocked up,” wrote mountain.

The Ambassador also noted that the building of the Ukrainian Embassy got “or antiaircraft shell, or mine”.

“Thank God, the generator was not hit. The margin of error of 2-3 meters, − said the mountain.
Recall that in 2015 the Ukrainian Embassy in Libya is in neighboring Tunisia because of the deteriorating security situation in the country, but Ukrainian diplomats regularly come to Tripoli.

In comments to Interfax-Ukraine Nagorno said that the Embassy building was damaged by an accidental explosion, no human casualties.

He also noted that currently the Embassy is under the protection of the Libyan authorities.

“Fortunately, in Ukraine any terrorist or hostile acts in Libya was not. And I doubt that will be because the Libyans up until that time, keep a friendly attitude to Ukraine”, − said the Ambassador.
