In Kyiv high-rise building broke the Elevator with a woman

Circumstances of incident are established.

In Kiev from the eighth floor fell down the Elevator, inside which is a 63-year-old pensioner.

This was reported by the physicians.

The incident occurred on Saturday, September 30, in the house №14 on the street Vikentiy Beretti in the Troyeshchyna residential area. As it became known, during the fall, triggering the protection mechanism, and the Elevator stopped at the fifth floor.

Inside the woman was traumatized knee joints. The witnesses helped her out of the cab and called paramedics, who’s place has provided victim assistance, and then took her to the emergency room.

Circumstances of incident are established, presumably at the lift broke one of the cables.

Today in the capital there are about 22 thousand elevators, of which half fulfilled the normative service life and require replacement or upgrading.
