“Mass events are planned in Kiev, so capital will come a lot of other areas. Therefore, our task is to do everything below at an appropriate level to ensure order and safety of citizens. The complicated situation in the East of the country, high-profile crimes in the capital region, the wave of false messages about the mining of various objects, alarming the operational information and the constant terrorist threat – all of this compels us to strengthen security measures”, – he said.
According Krishchenko, on the streets of the capital addition will be about 2 thousand militiamen: both police officers and military personnel, including the given forces from nearby regions.
