From Poland to Kiev brought another batch of trams.
All trams with low floors. 10 new cars have already passed the technical design, and the experts of KP “Kyivpastrans” began to test them out on the street the light rail line.
Another two cars will be delivered to the capital before the end of the week. It is planned that soon the Polish trams will go on routes.
In some districts of Kiev they will run is still unknown.
Previously, we reported that the fleet of “Kyivpastrans” added 18 new buses MAZ – they are already delivered to Kiev and will soon be released to the trails. As reported in the KSCA, these buses meet all modern standards: they have low floor buses adapted to service people with limited mobility and equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi .
The ecological condition of the buses meets the standards EURO-5, they are equipped with engines from German company “Mercedes Benz” and the automatic transmission ZF Germany. Just this year, the city purchased 100 MAZ for nearly 529 million, in the coming days in the capital will go another two.
“The new buses will be strengthened existing routes №№20, 55, 115, 45, 104, 53, 56, 102, this will reduce headways and increase passenger flow and to facilitate movement of passengers through the city”, – said the head of “Kyivpastrans” Dmitry Levchenko.
