The event will be a charity run.
On Saturday, April 8, due to the preparations for the Kyiv international half marathon will be limited traffic on the hem in the capital.

Traditionally, the route of the half marathon will run along the Dnieper river around the start and finish of the athletes at the Postal square.
April 8 traffic will be limited to the following locations:
Kontraktova square from 05:00 to 22:00;
Ul. Sagaidachnogo – from 05:00 to 24:00 (from Postal square to St. Boris and Gleb).
April 9 will cover more streets and bridges:
Kontraktova square from 05:00 to 22:00;
Ul. Sagaidachnogo – from 05:00 to 22:00;
Dnipro descent from 09:00 to 10:30 will be blocked by the ascent and descent near the Metro bridge;
Naberezhne highway from 08:00 to 10:30 overlaps the movement in both directions from the bridge, Metro to Kontraktova square, also from 09:00 to 12:40 will be closed to traffic from Boricheva descent down to the Metro bridge;
Ul. Naberezhno-khreshchatytska street from 08:30 to 12:40 overlaps the movement in the interval Boricheva descent to Havana bridge;
Havana bridge from 09:00 to 11:40 will be closed to traffic towards the bridge George Fuchs;
Ul. Naberezhno-Rybalska – 09:30 to 10:40 will overlap the movement in the direction of the Left Bank to the stop “Park of Friendship of Peoples.” Will contra-flow traffic in the oncoming traffic lane;
Ul. Trukhanovskiy – 08:30 to 12:50 will overlap the movement in both directions;
Vladimir descent from 08:30 to 13:00 will be closed traffic in both directions.
In the above-mentioned streets will be limited movement of all modes of transport, including Cycling and public.
“Kyiv half marathon” became traditional for the city. He has 7 years in a row combines cross-country enthusiasts, professional athletes and spectators on the streets. This year the half marathon will bring together 9,000 participants from 55 countries, it is expected the arrival of 500 foreign athletes.
The event will be a charity race “Winners” at a distance of 2 km up the eponymous social project. Running this race, participants will raise funds for the purchase of sports prostheses for veterans and members of ATO volunteers.
Traditionally, the organizers offer to young participants to go to children’s race, 1000 g, 500 m and 100 m. for the First time in the history of Kyiv half marathon will be a family race.
