In the National Museum “Kiev art gallery” opened a retrospective exhibition “my Land – my beauty” people’s artist of Ukraine Ivan Marchuk.
The exhibition will feature paintings of one of the 13 cycles of creative artist – “Landscape”. While in search of creative style, in 1972 the artist to transmit the spirituality of nature and invented his own technique of “plantanos” (Ukr. “plantans” from the dialectal word “plantati” – to weave, to twist), which is teetering on the brink of man-made and technological and because of the complexity of the filigree of performance and complexity is practically not subject to repetition. The exposition includes about 60 paintings created during 1972 – 2019.
Critics say that the influence of paintings by Ivan Marchuk to the viewer can be compared to the effect of 25-th frame, primarily acting on the subconscious. And does the artist paintings in addition to landscapes and portraits, exclusively on the subconscious.
