In the center of Kiev plan to demolish the monument to Soviet pilot Valery Chkalov.
“In the list of monuments that are to be dismantled, is a monument to the Soviet pilot Valery Chkalov. It is located in the Shevchenko district on the street Oles Gonchar,” – said vyatrovich.
The sculpture stands in the square opposite the building of the state service for emergency situations.
It is included in the official list is not dismantled monuments of Kiev Institute of naramata. In explanation said, that the object should carry, because Chkalov “has no relation to Ukraine”.
